Der langjährige Drummer der Band Rancid Brett Reed hat seine Position geräumt. Jetzt trommelt der ehemalige The Used Schlagzeuger Brandon Steineckert bei den Ska-Punk-Helden.

Das Statement des neuen Fellgerbers lautet wie folgt:

"The last few days have been completely surreal. I feel so very fortunate. It's an absolute honor to play music with Tim, Lars and Matt. I have the utmost respect for Brett as a person, friend and musician. I wish him the very best. This Band has always been my biggest influence. I've never enjoyed playing drums so much in my life as I do when I play with them. To play with such a sincere, honest band is the greatest experience. This music is my life. This is the beginning of something amazing. I look forward to whatever the future may bring. As a fan, I can't wait to sing, scream and sweat with Rancid and fans every night. See you soon!!!"
