Seit dem Release von 'The Blackening' im März 2007 sind MACHINE HEAD fleißig auf Tour gewesen, haben unter anderem im Vorprogramm von METALLICA, SLIPKNOT, SLAYER, MARILYN MANSON und MEGADETH gespielt, allerdings noch keine eigene umfangreiche Headliner-Tour durchgeführt. Das wird die Band ab Januar 2010 nachholen, bevor ein fast dreijähriger(!) Tourzyklus zu Ende gehen wird und MACHINE HEAD die Arbeiten am nächsten Album aufnehmen werden.

Die sogenannte 'Black Procession'-Tour wird MACHINE HEAD durch Europa führen und kann mit hochkarätigen Supportbands aufwarten: HATEBREED, BLEEDING THROUGH und ALL SHALL PERISH sind für den Trek bestätigt!

MACHINE HEAD Sänger/Gitarrist Robb Flynn sagt dazu:
'After three years of touring we are beyond stoked to finish this tour cycle on our own terms, with our show, our stage, our production, our control, and we're lucky enough to bring three of our favorite bands along with us, it's going to be fucking massive!!!'

Und Bassist Adam Duce fügt hinzu:
'Having done arenas now since 'The Black Crusade' as well as the METALLICA and SLIPKNOT tours, we thought it would be killer to give the fans a chance to have a couple different setlists, and mix things up a bit. It's gonna be fun for us to see which gems we dig up!!!'

Auch HATEBREED-Fronter Jamey Jasta rührt die Werbetrommel:
'MACHINE HEAD and HATEBREED on the same stages across Europe?!?! This will be the heaviest and most pit-inducing tour of 2010. Make no mistake, if you miss this show, I feel sorry for you!'

Brandan Schieppati, Sänger von BLEEDING THROUGH sagt:
'MACHINE HEAD is a band we have all looked up to for years. We consider it an honor to share the stage with our friends in MACHINE HEAD. This will be amazing!'
