Das ist mal ein seltsames Paar: Billy Bragg und Tom Morello, Gitarrist von Rage Against The Machine und Audioslave, sind für 14 Termine in den USA unterwegs, um in rein akustischer Form Liedgut in der Tradition von Woodie Guthrie und Bob Dylan zu spielen.

Auf dieser sogenannten "Tell Us The Truth" -Tour wird Morello unter dem Synonym "Nightwatchman" auftreten und läßt uns über sein alter ego wissen: "He is an artist of the people. Media consolidation needs smashing and globalization needs unmasking, and that is what the Nightwatchman is called to do on this tour, and he will respond to that challenge."

Es wird also sehr politisch zugehen und man könnte das ganze auch als vorgezogenen Anit-George Bush-Wahlkampagne verstehen:

"I'm certain Bush won't be re-elected. From the economy being in the toilet to American kids dying every day in a war we should never have gotten into, that's not a very solid resume. All of his personal jack-assed-ness aside, the one thing that was clear at the end of the day is that The Dixie Chicks were right. They had every right to be embarrassed that that guy is from Texas."
